Land Rover

Land Rovers are a multi purpose vehicle (MPV) launched in 1948 with the Land Rover Series 1. They were first produced by the United Kingdom Rover Company as a single model, but developed into a range of 4-wheel drive vehicles under different owners. From Rover to British Leyland, British Aerospace and BMW. In 2000 sold to Ford and in 2008 part of Jaguar Land Rover owned by India’s Tata Motors.

1958 brought the Land Rover Series 11, 1961 Series 11A and in 1970 saw the introduction of the Range Rover. In 1983 the Land Rover 90 was launched and in 1994 under BMW the Range Rover Classic and the Freelander. Other models include the Defender & the Discovery
